 The world is
currently passing through grave economic crisis, which has led to the loss of many
livelihoods leading to dis-empowerment hitherto unknown to humankind. Such colossal
wastage of human endeavour and productivity, has resulted in the loss of faith in
a system which has nurtured and sustained growth of a stable society in many countries.
It is in this context that we need to heavily draw on our inner strength and core
competencies for self empowerment. The need of the hour is to leverage our knowledge
power, which in India has traditionally been our forte through the extensive use
of cutting-edge technologies, to produce low cost services and dependable technologies
to sustain growth to tide over the current slowdown in the country's progress.
I2IT is contributing its might and its role in today's global meltdown
becomes far more important than in yesteryears. It continues to disseminate students
boosting their confidence in the smart use of technologies and management principles
in the strategic and commercial segments. The programs designed at I2IT
addresses smart solutions based on the emerging domains of Nano-technology, Bio-technology
and Cognitive technology enhanced through the application of Infocom Technology.
I2IT programs address the need of the country in terms of generating
quality human resources for industries, R & D and leaders for the society and
commercial enterprises for the society to lead from the front.
