    I2IT alumnus, Farhad Merchant, September 2005 MS Program by Research is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at IISc Bangalore.  

    Farhad has been invited to attend the International Congress of Mathematicians, 2010. He had the distinct honour of presenting his paper "Statistically, Failure of Inferential Statistics at Critical Point of Time" accepted as “short communication”.

    What was unique about this is that Farhad is the only attendee who is doing research on electronics engineering in a congress of mathematicians.
    Farhad will also be attending The 15th CSI International Symposium on Computer Architecture and Digital Systems in Tehran, Iran.

    Praveen R. Malav (APGP – ISR – 2009)

    Under the guidance of Prof Rabinder Henry and Prof. Amit Patwardhan, Praveen has completed a research paper titled “Simulator Development for the Manipulator Control of PAMA6 Robotic Arm”.

    This paper has been accepted to the “2010 3rd International Conference on Computer and Electrical Engineering (ICCEE 2010)” to be held in Chengdu, China, between November 16 and 18, 2010.

    Hemank Dabhade, student of School of Interdisciplinary Science & Technology, has successfully filed for his own patent with the Indian Patent Office on 9th July 2010 for Provisional Specification of Transmission System (application number 1961/MUM/2010)

    Hemank has also been accepted to pursue a short-term research program on Fuel Cell at RWTH Aachen ( www.rwth-aachen.de) Germany.

    The Intel India Scholar Program Team has selected Samichi Shrivastava (July 2007 Microelectronics & VLSI Design) to the Semi Finals (Poster Presentation) of the Intel Scholar Program 2008.

    Her research area is Silicon & System Design and the title is Minimazation of Signal Integrity in High Speed CMOS Design.
    The ‘Poster Presentation’ would be held during the last week of August 2008.

    Daksh Sharma and Gaurav Arora of MBA Jan 05 did I2IT proud as their paper was selected to be presented at The European and Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems 2006 which was held at Costa Blanca, Alicante, Spain on 6th and 7th July 2006.

    The title of the Paper was “Product Development & Research Using an Innovative Tool”From across the world only 80 papers were selected for the presentation.
